Speed Sensor, electric motor, CW-48, LM48, & LMLSV

$99.99

Speed sensor for electric motor on Chuck Wagon CW-48 and Landmaster LM48 & LMLSV.

Symptoms:  UTV takes off, but within a few seconds drops to about 1 mph.  Turning the ignition switch off and on resets it, but it does the same thing again as soon as you when you hit the accelerator pedal.

Diagnosis:  Remove the plastic cover from the control panel (behind the batteries) and read the flashing light display on the controller.  There will be a long pause, one flash, short pause, 3 flashes, and then it repeats (code 13).  This code is cleared when you turn off the ignition, so if you turned it off (which you should) to remove the cover, you'll have to re-activate the problem (drive it again) to get the code.

The speed sensor is on the left side of the electric motor, behind one of shocks.  Check the connector;  if everything looks okay, it's probably the speed sensor.

This is not intended to be a "catch-all" diagnosis and is to be used as a guideline only;  it is not a guarantee of diagnosis and/or resolution to your problem.  However, it's our experience that speed sensors have to be replaced about once a year.

This is a special-order part. Please allow an extra 21 business days for delivery. Your card will be charged as soon as the order is processed, and the order may not be cancelled or returned.
